Role Overview:
As a Bodyshop Painter, you will play a key role in our team, ensuring that our vehicles are painted and finished to the highest standards. A full, clean UK driving licence and prior experience in a similar role are essential.
Key Tasks & Responsibilities:
* Prepare vehicle surfaces by cleaning, sanding, and smoothing.
* Mask and tape off components not needing painting.
* Mix paints to match colours or create custom finishes.
* Apply primer, paint, and clear coats using spray gun and other techniques.
* Inspect and correct paintwork imperfections.
* Maintain a clean and safe working environment and equipment.
* Collaborate with other bodyshop staff to ensure timely completion
Requirements:
* Previous experience in automotive painting or bodyshop work
* Attention to detail and colour matching skills.
* Manual dexterity and ability to use paint spraying equipment.
* Knowledge of safety standards and painting best practices.
* Good teamwork and communication skills
Qualifications
* Proven experience in Automative painting is essential.
* Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
* Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
* Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering quality workmanship.
