Job Description
As a Material Controller, duties will include:\n\nEnsure the goods in, stores and despatch area within the factory is run efficiently in order to provide a good reliable service to support the manufacturing process.\n\nOperating mechanical handling equipment including counterbalance forklift truck and operatng automatic Billet Saw to provide materials for machining\n\nCommunicate with internal and external customers and suppliers to arrange deliveries to Despatch, liaising with Planning Manager, for goods out, ensuring that all products are packed appropriately to prevent damage in transit and the image of the company is maintained and improved.\n\nProvide material availability informaion to support new sales orders to the Planning Manager.\n\nUndertake the purchasing of non-production materials, including stationery, based on demand for all the different departments in the company and act as the interface with non production materials suppliers\n\nMaintain a good working relationship with colleagues to promote successful teamwork.\n\nExperience Required: 3-4years experience in material handling and coordinaton in a manufacturing company.\n\nPrevious stores experience preferably including quality control....
