This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who wants to make a meaningful difference in pupils’ lives. Previous SEN experience is valued but not essential, full training and ongoing support will be provided. Key Responsibilities Provide both academic and emotional support to pupils with SEN in 1:1 and small-group settings. Assist in delivering personalised learning plans and implementing Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs). Foster a safe, nurturing, and inclusive environment that encourages pupil engagement and independence. Work collaboratively with teachers, therapists, and other school professionals to promote pupil progress and wellbeing. Support pupils with personal care and mobility needs in line with school policies and training. Candidate Requirements Experience working with children or young people (particularly within education or SEN settings) is advantageous. A calm, patient, and adaptable approach when supporting pupils with a range of needs. Strong communication and teamwork skills. A genuine commitment to safeguarding and the wellbeing of children.
