Academic requirements\n\nIdeally, youâll have five National 4 or 5s (or similar) English and Maths but you'll have the opportunity to build on your academic achievements so far whilst on the apprenticeship\nTo be eligible for this apprenticeship you must not already hold a similar qualification of the same level.\n\n\nAdditional requirements\n\nA lot of our projects are in locations that are not accessible via public transport so a driving licence would be desirable or the ability to learn and have access to a vehicle whilst on the apprenticeship\nDue to the nature of our industry, you may be required to move away to work on a project.\u00A0 We cannot always guarantee that you will be placed on a project which is close to your home.\u00A0 BAM do support this by paying a living away allowance.
