About The Role:
We are seeking a skilled and proactive Maintenance Assistant to support the upkeep of Thrive’s estate. Your responsibilities will include installation, maintenance, and repair work across our buildings and complexes, ensuring environments are safe, functional, and welcoming.
You will work closely with the Maintenance Supervisor and contractors, delivering high-quality maintenance services and supporting estate improvement projects in line with our health & safety policies.

Essential Criteria:
We are looking for a motivated and reliable individual with a strong maintenance background, proactive attitude, and dedication to quality. The ideal candidate will have:
* Proven maintenance experience, ideally with relevant trade skills
* A full, clean UK driving licence (you must be 25 or over for insurance). A company vehicle will be provided.
* Strong organisational skills to manage your diary, meet deadlines, and deliver results
* Knowledge of health and safety regulations, including asbestos and legionella protocols
* Basic IT skills for record keeping and communication
* Excellent communication skills, both face-to-face and over the phone
* The ability to remain calm under pressure and maintain professionalism
