Cladding Project Manager
Location: Scotland (projects across the UK, predominantly Scotland)
Position Type: Full-Time, Staff Position
Salary: From £60,000 DOE (Dependent on Experience)
Advanced Resource Managers are recruiting on behalf of a large, well-established steel fabricator with a strong presence across the UK. Due to continued growth and a strong project pipeline, we are seeking an experienced Cladding Project Manager to oversee roofing and cladding operations across multiple active sites.
Role Overview
Reporting directly to the Contracts Manager, you will take full responsibility for the day-to-day management of cladding operations across several live projects. This is a hands-on leadership role that requires strong technical knowledge of roofing and cladding systems, excellent organisational ability, and a proactive approach to health, safety, quality, and programme delivery.
You will play a key role in ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, within scope, and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
* Oversee the daily running of roofing and cladding operations across UK sites (primarily Scotland).
* Provide regular progress reports and site updates to the Contracts Manager.
* Conduct quality control inspections on all roofing and cladding installations.
* Complete, manage, and file QA inspection forms in line with project documentation.
* Ensure labour teams are adequately resourced with materials, plant, and prepared work areas.
* Forward plan site activities to maintain programme momentum.
* Liaise with clients on a daily basis to ensure smooth communication and project delivery.
* Monitor plant usage and site efficiency.
* Maintain accurate and up-to-date site records, including:
* Health & Safety documentation
* Toolbox talks
* Hand-arm vibration monitoring sheets
* Ensure all works are carried out in compliance with approved Method Statements and Risk Assessments.
* Track project milestones, ensure programme deadlines are achieved, and record any delays or disruptions.
* Coordinate netting and edge protection packages alongside the Contracts Manager.
* Liaise with the Health & Safety Department to collate and manage project Method Statements and Risk Assessments.
Requirements
* Proven experience in roofing and cladding operations (essential).
* Valid Management Level CSCS Card.
* SMSTS Certification.
* Full UK Driving Licence.
* Strong leadership and team management skills.
* Excellent communication and organisational abilities.
* Ability to manage multiple site activities simultaneously.
* Willingness to travel as required.
