Job Description
This role is part of the Global Cyber Security (GCS) Team, focused on embedding cybersecurity culture into McDonald's DNA to protect against cyber threats through proactive defense, innovation, and collaboration. The Manager, Operations Excellence (Communications), GCS, reports to the Director, Operations Excellence, and manages leadership communications, organizational change management, and operational governance. The position is based in London.
Accountabilities & Responsibilities:
* Support market communications and deployment change management plans
* Collaborate with cybersecurity and market stakeholders for end-user enablement and leadership communication
* Develop and execute communication and engagement strategies
* Prepare leadership scripts, narratives, and talking points
* Create materials for leadership meetings and events
* Advise teams on communication strategies and impact measurement
* Innovate ways to engage audiences through content
* Support team performance management and survey actions
* Manage operational practices and governance
* Lead change management initiatives and promote internal motivation
* Establish documentation and knowledge-sharing routines
* Develop business routines and align team practices
* Coordinate with center teams, markets, and partners for consistency
* Support the Director of Operations Excellence as needed
Skills & Experience:
* Experience in business, technology, communications, change management, or related areas
* Knowledge of organizational practices and governance
* Experience supporting organizational change and building culture
* Cybersecurity background preferred
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Ability to translate technical language for general audiences
* Proficiency in business process improvement and modeling
* Ability to work with diverse teams and deliver outcomes
* Understanding of business and organizational practices
* Structured, adaptable, and innovative approach
* Proven success in creative communication programs
* Comfortable presenting to large audiences
* Experience working in various environments and with international teams
* Strong partnership and strategic recommendation skills
* Proficient in Microsoft Office 365, Teams, SharePoint, and potential familiarity with Smartsheet
Qualifications:
* Prosci Change Management certification preferred
