Key Responsibilities
* Plan, deliver, and assess History lessons for Key Stage 3 and 4 students.
* Create a positive, stimulating, and inclusive learning environment.
* Differentiate teaching to meet the needs of diverse learners.
* Encourage students to think critically and develop a strong understanding of historical events.
* Monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and support.
* Work collaboratively with colleagues to help develop and enhance the History curriculum.
* Contribute to school events and extracurricular opportunities.
The Ideal Candidate Will:
* Hold QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or an equivalent teaching qualification.
* Be a passionate History specialist with strong subject knowledge.
* Inspire, motivate, and engage students of all abilities.
* Demonstrate excellent communication and classroom management skills.
* Show commitment to ongoing professional development.
* Have experience teaching GCSE History (desirable but not essential).
* Hold an enhanced DBS on the Update Service or be willing to apply for one.
