Support marketing activity to grow awareness and engagement. Create content, manage social media, and support campaigns. Help raise awareness of our mission to rescue, rehabilitate, and rehome stray and abandoned cats, increasing adoptions and vital support.
What difference will you make?
The Marketing Assistant role will play an important part in helping us grow our reach, increase engagement, and strengthen awareness of our work within the community. As a small, volunteer run charity, our ability to rescue, rehabilitate, and rehome cats is directly linked to how effectively we can promote our work and connect with potential adopters and supporters. This role will help ensure we have a consistent and engaging presence across our social media and digital platforms, allowing us to reach more people and showcase the cats in our care. By supporting the creation and scheduling of content, the volunteer will help us maintain regular communication with our audience, highlight adoptable cats, and give greater visibility to those who may otherwise be overlooked, such as long stay or more complex cases. This will support faster and more successful rehoming outcomes. The role will also contribute to improving the quality and consistency of our content. By working with fosterers to gather photos and updates, we can ensure that the information we share is current, accurate, and appealing, which is essential in encouraging enquiries and building trust with potential adopters. In addition, the Marketing Assistant will support our fundraising efforts by helping to promote raffles, appeals, and partnerships. Increased visibility and engagement will directly contribute to generating vital income, which enables us to cover veterinary care, food, and other essential costs. The insights gained from monitoring engagement and content performance will also help us refine our approach over time, allowing us to focus on what works best and continue improving our impact. Overall, this role will strengthen our ability to reach the public, increase adoptions, and secure the support needed to continue helping stray and abandoned cats.
