Business Development Manager ConstructionNear Bournemouth, DorsetSalary £70,000 + Car Allowance + Commission + 25 Days Holiday + Pension + Hybrid WorkingBlaymires Recruitment is representing a well-established and highly respected modular building specialist with over 50 years of experience delivering high-quality off-site construction solutions across the UK.Due to continued growth, the company is seeking an ambitious Business Development Manager to drive new opportunities, develop client relationships, and expand their presence across key sectors including local authorities, housing, education and defence .The RoleThis is a commercially focused position responsible for identifying, developing, and securing new business opportunities. The successful candidate will play a key role in revenue growth and long-term client development.Key responsibilities include:Identifying and developing new business opportunities and target clientsBuilding and maintaining strong relationships with public and private sector stakeholdersLeading the sales process from initial enquiry through to contract awardPreparing proposals, presentations, and tender submissionsWorking closely with pre-construction, design, and delivery teamsAttending industry events, networking functions, and client meetingsMaintaining a strong pipeline and achieving agreed sales targetsCandidate RequirementsThe company is seeking a confident and commercially driven Business Development Manager or Sales professional with a strong understanding of the construction or built environment sector.You will ideally have:Proven business development or sales experience within construction, modular, or related sectorsStrong client-facing and relationship-building skillsExperience selling to local authorities, main contractors, developers, or public sector bodies (highly desirable)Excellent communication and presentation abilitiesSelf-motivation and a proactive approach to winning workAbility to understand technical solutions and articulate value to clientsFull UK driving licenceWhats on OfferCompetitive basic salary £70,000Performance-related commission up to 50% of salaryCar allowance £5000Pension & 25 holiday entitlementWork from home on a FridayLong-term career prospects within a growing businessHours08:30 to 17:30 Monday to Thursday08:30 to 14:30 FridayIf you would like further information, then contact Stephen Blaymires at Blaymires Recruitment.TPBN1_UKTJ
