Our expert teams provide planned preventative maintenance, reactive service, validation, design, and installation works for all air conditioning, refrigeration, and process cooling plant and systems. We adhere to British Standards and follow TR19, published by the Building Engineering Services Association (BESA).
Joining SMS Environmental, you will be part of our experienced team, driving the evolution of Water Treatment and Air Purification with innovation and best practices to ensure the highest safety standards for the communities we serve across the UK. Responsibilities:
* Install, maintain, and repair a wide range of HVAC and Refrigeration equipment, ensuring safe operational functionality and presentation.
* Complete relevant service documentation and provide full diagnostic reports via iPad.
* Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve breakdowns on A/C Equipment.
* Travel across the South/South East will be a significant part of the role, including attending out-of-hours call outs and emergency jobs.
Requirements
Skills & Education:
* Experience with Air Conditioning on various equipment.
* F Gas Certificate and HVAC Qualification.
* Experience with Heating, Ventilation, and Refrigeration.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* Experience working across different customer sectors, delivering high-quality work.
* Proficient IT skills, as all work is documented digitally via an iPad.
* Able to work at heights and in confined spaces.
* Full UK Driving License.
* Ability to pass DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) clearance (Enhanced DBS check).
