Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and personable Dental Receptionist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for patients, providing a warm and welcoming environment while efficiently managing administrative tasks. This role is essential in ensuring smooth operations within the dental practice and enhancing patient satisfaction.
Hours are:
Monday - 08:00-18:00
Wednesday - 08:00-18:00
Thursday - 08:00-18:00
Friday - 08:00-14:00
Responsibilities
* Greet patients warmly upon arrival and assist with check-in procedures.
* Manage appointment scheduling, including confirming and rescheduling appointments as necessary.
* Handle patient inquiries via phone, email, and in-person, providing information about services and procedures.
* Maintain accurate patient records and ensure confidentiality in accordance with data protection regulations.
* Process patient payments and manage billing inquiries.
* Coordinate with dental staff to ensure seamless patient flow throughout the practice.
* Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and inventory management of office supplies.
Experience
* Previous office experience is desirable, within a dental setting.
* Administrative experience is highly desirable, showcasing strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
* Proficiency in using computer Software of Excellence will be advantageous.
* Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with patients and staff alike.
