We are an established practice learning facilitator team looking to recruit a new team member for Midwifery students for HUTH.
Responsibilities
* Act as a resource for staff and students requiring advice or guidance on issues relating to practice learning and any ongoing concerns. You will be a skilled collaborator and an effective cross‑functional communicator.
* Participate in quality monitoring processes in conjunction with the education providers to ensure a quality learning experience for students.
* Support the implementation of the learning and development agreement.
* Promote and deliver on the strategic direction of nationally and locally driven quality assurance methodology.
* Promote effective communication networks for practice learning between stakeholders.
* Promote collaboration between HEIs, NHS and non‑NHS organisations within the healthcare community to develop and enhance the quality of practice learning for all students.
* Support practice learning within a multi‑professional environment.
* Support the development of new and existing placements across the healthcare community by working closely with all key stakeholders involved in the delivery of education within the practice setting.
* Increase the capacity of quality learning opportunities for students within the community and primary care setting.
* Work with partners to ensure the number of practice supervisors/ assessors across the healthcare community is sufficient to support the number of students requiring practice learning opportunities.
* Continue ongoing support of practice supervisors/ assessors to maintain and increase the availability of high quality placements for all students.
* Support the development and implementation of new models of placement learning.
