Lead Pricing Analyst - Market: We’re looking for a Lead Pricing Analyst to join our Market Pricing team and take a key role in shaping the way we compete in the insurance market. This is more than a technical role - it’s a chance to influence strategy, drive innovation, and lead a team that delivers real business impact.
You’ll plan and deliver pricing projects that hit deadlines and quality standards, while directly influencing growth, conversion, retention, and profitability. Your expertise will help us unlock smarter pricing decisions using advanced machine learning and statistical techniques, ensuring Ageas stays ahead in a competitive market.
Main Responsibilities as Lead Pricing Analyst - Market:
1. Manage, develop, and coach Pricing Analysts to build capability and core skills.
2. Develop and approve predictive machine learning models, exploring new techniques to boost accuracy and performance.
3. Drive price optimisation strategies and improve existing processes using cutting-edge methods.
4. Shape the strategic direction of retail pricing across Ageas UK Group.
5. Provide accurate datasets, maintain behavioural models, and deploy pricing solutions that make a measurable impact.
Skills and experience you need as Lead Pricing Analyst - Market:
6. Strong experience in insurance pricing or a related analytical role.
7. Strong Radar and / or Emblem experience.
8. Experience with predictive modelling techniques (GLMs, GBMs, Decision Trees, Neural Networks).
9. Knowledge of price optimisation and ability to translate complex analytics into actionable insights.
10. A confident leader who can influence at all levels and drive innovation.
