Job Summary We are currently seeking an experienced Quality & Process Engineer for a role based in an Automotive Engineering company in Birmingham. This role is integral to developing and implementing business processes and standards across Production, Quality, Engineering, Environmental, Health & Safety, and Training, as well as delivering commercially viable engineering solutions. Key Responsibilities: * Develop, implement, and maintain our Quality & Environmental Management System (QEMS) and Business Management System (BMS) in line with company objectives and relevant standards. * Design and develop products, improvements, tooling, fixtures, and associated equipment. * Undertake supplier, product, and service audits to ensure compliance with required specifications. * Produce and maintain Standard Operating Procedures, Work Instructions, and contract-related documentation such as FMEAs, Control Plans, and PFDs. * Drive continual improvement in processes, quality, and production capabilities. * Deliver formal and informal training to propagate quality awareness and skills. Candidate Specification: * Degree (or equivalent) in Automotive Engineering or a related discipline. * Excellent communication, organisational, and problem-solving skills. * Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project). * Knowledge of ISO, IATF, and APQP standards, as well as quality and project management techniques. * Audit qualification or willingness to work towards one.
