Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Front of House Supervisor to join our dynamic team. This role is pivotal in ensuring exceptional service delivery and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere for our guests. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a background in hospitality, and a passion for food preparation and service. As the Front of House Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing daily operations, managing staff, and ensuring compliance with food safety standards.
Responsibilities
* Supervise and coordinate the activities of front-of-house staff to ensure high standards of service.
* Supervising and motivating the front of house team.
* Train and mentor front of house team with sequence of service, techniques, and customer service best practices.
* Manage daily operations including scheduling, inventory management, and cleanliness.
* Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, particularly in relation to food safety and hygiene.
* Foster a positive team environment through effective communication and leadership.
* Handle guest inquiries and complaints professionally to enhance customer satisfaction.
* Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure seamless service delivery during busy periods.
* Assist in the preparation of food items as needed.
* Maintaining a clean, safe and welcoming environment for guests and staff
Qualifications
* Previous experience in a supervisory role within the hospitality or restaurant sector is essential.
* Strong background in food preparation, cooking, and kitchen operations is highly desirable.
* Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a diverse team effectively.
* Excellent knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in restaurant setting.
* Experience in serving customers with a focus on delivering exceptional hospitality experiences.
* Previous experience as a barista or within hotel settings would be advantageous.
* Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
