We are looking for a Hydrographic Surveyor to join our team. As a Hydrographic Surveyor, you will be responsible for conducting seabed surveys to gather data on its features and topography. GEOxyz is a leading international survey company, specializing in hydrographic, geophysical, geotechnical, and topographic surveys; marine site investigations; renewable energy support; and crew transfers for the on-, near-, and offshore industry.
Through our local offices and representatives worldwide, we serve the offshore, dredging, and marine construction industries; Transmission System Operators (TSO); authorities; consulting firms; and research centers.
We operate a sizable fleet of 30 owned vessels, ranging from offshore vessels to smaller trailer vessels and Unmanned Surface Vehicles (USVs).
Operating from the Baltic Sea to the Mediterranean Sea, with a focus on the North Sea basin, we are expanding globally. Our team of 650 experts embodies our extensive in-house expertise.

Responsibilities:
1. Preparation and planning of seabed surveys.
2. Installation of modern survey equipment, including multibeam echosounders, side-scan sonars, and sub-bottom profilers.
3. Calibration and verification of survey equipment for accurate data collection.
4. Data collection and daily field reporting using various survey tools.
5. Processing and interpreting survey data to produce charts, maps, and reports.
6. Supporting ongoing operations and collaborating with team members for safe and efficient surveys.
7. Providing advice on geophysical/hydrographic matters to ensure data quality.
8. Ensuring vessel safety procedures are followed to maintain a safe work environment.
9. Carrying out operations in compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
Minimum Qualifications:
* Bachelor’s degree in survey-related disciplines, hydrography, or geology.
* Experience in surveying for national charting purposes.
* Knowledge and skills in data processing and interpretation, and familiarity with modern survey methods and equipment.
* Basic safety training (STCW95 is a plus).
* Valid driving license.
* Positive team spirit and methodical thinking with attention to detail.
