Advanced Specialist - Sales Description In this role, you will lead Pearson's sales growth and strategic presence across Wales, building senior-level partnerships and driving adoption of our vocational qualifications. This role aligns to industry-level titles such as Country Sales Manager - Wales, Regional Sales Manager, Business Development Manager, Education Partnerships Manager, or Country Sales Lead. As Country Manager for Wales, you will represent Pearson at the highest levels, building trusted relationships with key stakeholders including Welsh Government bodies, colleges, and sector partners. You'll position Pearson as the partner of choice for vocational qualifications, helping institutions navigate policy change and deliver meaningful outcomes for learners. In your first six months, you'll establish a strong regional strategy, deepen relationships with priority accounts, and build a high-quality pipeline aligned to national and Welsh policy priorities. Build, manage, and convert a strong B2B sales pipeline, from prospecting through to negotiation and close. Engage senior stakeholders across government, regulatory bodies, and colleges, positioning Pearson as a trusted strategic partner. Represent Pearson at regional events, policy forums, and sector conferences, strengthening brand presence and influence. Collaborate cross-functionally with Marketing, Product, and Government Relations to ensure alignment with Welsh education priorities. Lead key account management across Wales and selected England accounts, maintaining high standards of service and partnership. Success in this role means measurable revenue growth, strengthened institutional partnerships, and increased adoption of Pearson qualifications across Wales. About You You bring strong B2B sales experience, ideally within education, vocational qualifications, or public sector environments - and you understand the Welsh education landscape.
