Dog Grooming Internal Quality Assurer (IQA) - Remote

Job Purpose:
To work within the online learning portal to undertake IQA of learners' work in line with qualification specifications and awarding body requirements to maximise opportunities for learners enrolled onto our Animal Faculty courses, specifically Animal Hydrotherapy.
Dog Grooming IQA:
1. Holds or is working towards a Level 4 Award in Internal Quality Assurance of Assessment Processes and Practices or its equivalent - Essential
2. Has substantial experience of working in the animal care sector.
3. Is familiar with the assessment requirements of the qualification for which they are the Internal Quality Assurer.
4. Dog Grooming RQF qualified
Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
5. MUST hold a level 4 award in Internal Quality Assurance.
6. IQA learner assignment submissions in line with IQA schedule.
7. Level 3 diploma qualified in dog grooming
8. Level 3 Assessing qualification / or teaching qualification
9. Assist in tracking and reporting the progress of learners as required.
10. Actively uphold all of the organisation’s policies & procedures, including Safeguarding and Health and Safety and GDPR.
11. Attend, and actively contribute, to standardisation meetings as requested by the Head of the Faculty.
12. Upholding the organisations Internal Quality Assurance processes, working with awarding bodies.
13. Reporting on monthly IQA reports.
14. Participate in standardisation meetings.
These roles offer flexible working hours, depending on caseload and associate availability. We’re looking for applicants that hold a certificate in the relevant subject specialism and Internal Quality Assurance qualification.
We operate a completely flexible remote working model. Working on a self-employed Contract for Services basis.
Fees and payment rates will be discussed during interview.
You will be responsible for organising and managing your own workload whilst maintaining the highest level of standards. Each of our subject areas is faculty driven and as an Associate member of the team you will have direct contact with a Head of Faculty to support you with caseload management, learner queries and assessment processes.
What we are looking for in you:
15. You must hold a Level 4 award in Internal Quality Assurance.
16. Significant experience in teaching, marking or assessing
17. Experience of successfully managing the Quality Assurance processes for remote team(s) is Essential
18. Extensive knowledge of Animal faculty courses and industry
19. Experience using a CRM would be preferred
20. Experience of quality assurance processes and expectations of those conducting assessments, including an awareness of the key principles of awarding body requirements
21. Subject relevant qualification to Animal industry
22. Substantial evidence of CPD
23. IQA qualification is essential
24. Natural problem solver, able to reassure learners with queries
25. Ability to work without close supervision
26. Exceptional organisation
