Job Summary
As a vital member of our team, the Front of House Staff plays a crucial role in creating a welcoming and enjoyable atmosphere for our guests. This position involves engaging with customers, managing reservations, and ensuring that all front-of-house operations run smoothly. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a friendly demeanour, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service.
Responsibilities
* Greet and welcome guests upon arrival, ensuring a positive first impression.
* Manage reservations and seating arrangements efficiently to optimise guest flow.
* Provide information about menu items, specials, and events to enhance the guest experience.
* Take orders accurately and relay them to the kitchen staff in a timely manner.
* Address guest inquiries and concerns promptly and professionally.
* Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the front-of-house area, including dining spaces and waiting areas.
* Collaborate with kitchen and bar staff to ensure seamless service delivery.
* Assist in training new staff members as needed to uphold service standards.
Qualifications
* Previous experience in a customer-facing role is preferred but not essential.
* Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse clientele.
* A proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
* Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings and weekends as required.
* A keen attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of service.
