The Role

We are currently looking for an Assistant Store Manager to join Josh and the team at our store in Birmingham.
What you will be doing
The Assistant Manager plays a key role in the store's leadership, focusing on exceeding sales targets, achieving KPI goals, delivering excellent customer service, and driving operational metrics. You will lead and collaborate with the sales team to identify opportunities, coach performance, and build lasting customer relationships, including managing appointments with corporate clients and wedding parties. Additionally, you will manage customer feedback alongside the Store Manager.
Strong selling skills and product knowledge are essential to providing high-quality customer service. You will train the team on CT's service and selling standards, encouraging the use of all store and business training tools, such as reports, VM directives, and courses on the Tyrwhitt Academy. You will foster a positive store culture, ensuring a professional and enjoyable environment for both staff and customers.
Other responsibilities include supporting the Store Manager with data analysis, stock management, controlling costs, recruitment, staff engagement, HR, Health & Safety, and compliance.

* Previous retail management experience
* Ability to lead, inspire, and motivate others to high standards
* Coaching and leadership skills
* Strong commercial and analytical skills
* Experience in stock management and loss prevention
* Good understanding of systems and proficiency in Microsoft Office
* Relationship-building skills and stakeholder management
