Office Assistant and Front of House
Salary
£25,000 – £27,000 per year, dependent on experience
Hours
8:30 am – 5:00 pm, 4 days a week in the office (on‑site)
Role Description
This part‑time (10‑month contract) role based in London involves overseeing front‑desk operations, providing administrative and clerical support, managing office supplies and ensuring smooth day‑to‑day functioning of the office. You will liaise with staff and external visitors, organise schedules, and maintain a consistent service excellence at the frontline of the company.
Responsibilities
* Front‑of‑house / reception duties
* Printing and binding presentations
* Booking meetings, rooms and setting up Zoom calls
* Some diary management
* Processing expenses
* Making teas and coffees for clients
* Ensuring the meeting rooms and communal areas (kitchen) are tidy
* Attending to client requests such as booking taxis, lunch orders, etc.
* Ad‑hoc admin support such as restaurant bookings, adding contacts, assisting with office supplies
Qualifications
* Proficiency in administrative assistance and clerical skills, including document management and organising records
* Strong phone etiquette and excellent communication skills for client and team interactions
* Experience handling and maintaining office equipment such as printers, copiers and phone systems
* Attention to detail, multitasking ability and organisational skills
* Professional attitude and ability to represent the company in front‑facing responsibilities
* Previous experience in office administration or front‑of‑house roles is advantageous
