The Opportunity
We are looking for an experienced and insightful Senior Project Manager to join our team. This is a vital role with the opportunity to lead the delivery of our most significant, high-value residential projects, from initial concept to final handover.
You will be more than a project manager; you will be the trusted advisor to our clients and the unifying force for our design studios. Your role will be to provide the strategic direction and calm authority needed to transform ambitious creative visions into beautifully realised homes. With a focus on quality, programme and cost, you will ensure the client’s aspirations are not just met, but exceeded.
This is a leadership position where you will mentor talented colleagues, shape our project management standards, and contribute directly to the growth and reputation of our practice.
What You Will Be Responsible For
* Acting as the primary point of contact and strategic guide for our clients, building lasting relationships founded on trust and clarity.
* Leading the end-to-end delivery of multiple, high-value residential projects, ensuring design integrity is upheld at every stage.
* Defining project strategy, from scope, programmes and fees through to consultant and contractor appointments.
* Directing our in-house design teams and external specialists, fostering a collaborative and forward-thinking environment.
* Expertly administering JCT contracts, overseeing everything from tender strategy and negotiations to valuations and final accounts.
* Taking ownership of programme, budget and risk management, ensuring robust controls and reporting are in place.
* Championing best practice across the project management studio, helping to refine our processes and mentor our growing team.
Who We Are Looking For
* A proven project manager with 5-10+ years of experience in a client-facing consultancy role, accustomed to leading complex, high-end residential projects.
* Commercially astute, with a track record of shaping fee proposals, managing budgets and enhancing project profitability.
* An expert in the full project lifecycle (all RIBA stages), with particular strength in pre-construction strategy and on-site delivery.
* A natural leader and communicator, able to inspire confidence in UHNW clients, motivate design teams, and negotiate effectively.
* Proficient in JCT contract administration and skilled in using modern project management tools (e.g., CMAP, ClickUp) to maintain clarity and control.
* A chartered professional (RICS/CIOB) or on the path to chartership, with a relevant degree in Project Management, Construction Management, Architecture or a related field.
* Holds a full UK driving licence.
