Hours: 8.30am to 5pm Monday to Thursday, 8.30 to 4.30pm Friday
Pay: £13.26 per hour

Job Purpose:
As an Administrative Support Specialist, you'll play a vital role in ensuring smooth operations within the Business Support Units. Your focus will be on delivering both day-to-day and long-term administrative and financial assistance. You will be the first point of contact for our internal and external customers, ensuring every inquiry is met with efficiency and a smile!
Key Responsibilities:
Meeting Master: Take minutes during relevant meetings and prepare materials for training and conferences using your tech-savvy skills.
Financial Whiz: Assist managers with financial transactions, adhering to procedures, and ensuring accurate record-keeping.
Resource Guru: Order goods, stationery, and equipment, acting as an approved purchaser through the Council's PCARD system.
Scheduling Superstar: Support managers in organising meetings and events, ensuring everything runs smoothly.
Customer Care Champion: Respond to inquiries and complaints, demonstrating a high level of customer care.
What We're Looking For:
Administrative Expertise: Proven experience in administrative support and financial administration.
Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to engage effectively with team members and customers.
Team Player: Ability to work cooperatively within a team while also managing your own workload.
Agile Mindset: An understanding of agile working principles to enhance service delivery.
Tech-Savvy: Proficiency in using software packages for document preparation and data gathering.
