Following a recent team change, we are seeking a skilled and motivated CNC Operator to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will operate various CNC machines to support and improve our production capabilities. Your main goal will be to produce high-quality components while maximizing spindle uptime.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Set up and operate high-speed CNC machines for milling, drilling, tapping, grinding, and related tasks.
2. Oversee and operate additional machine shop equipment as needed.
3. Ensure all tooling, fixtures, and CNC programs are prepared before production begins.
4. Accurately record production data, including quantities and scrap, on relevant documentation.
5. Maintain high standards of quality and output throughout the production process.
6. Interpret mechanical drawings and specifications to understand job requirements.
7. Perform basic program edits and manage tool tables.
8. Take full ownership of component quality and related records.
9. Monitor, check, and replace tooling and cutters as necessary.
10. Load raw materials and components into machines.
11. Monitor and refill lubricant levels.
12. Apply knowledge of 3-axis and 4-axis CNC machining and Renishaw probing systems.
13. Follow all company safety procedures and operational protocols.
