Site Engineer - Highways & Earthworks

I’m currently recruiting on behalf of a leading highways contractor who is looking to appoint an experienced Site Engineer to support a major highways project in Northamptonshire. This role will suit a hands‑on engineer with strong setting‑out capability and experience working within a highways and earthworks environment.
The Role
* Setting out for highways and earthworks works
* Producing and maintaining as‑built records
* Completing quality documentation in line with project requirements
* Supporting day‑to‑day engineering activities on site
* Working closely with site management and subcontractors to ensure accurate delivery
Essential Requirements
* Proven experience as a Site Engineer on highways projects
* Strong setting‑out capability
* Experience with as‑built generation
* Highways and earthworks experience essential
* Good understanding of quality processes and site documentation
Desirable
* Competent with surveying equipment and engineering software
* Ability to work independently and as part of a site team
