Overview
Are you ready to join the Fearless? As Night Porter, you will be the main point of contact during the night and play a key role in ensuring the smooth running and security of the hotel overnight. This varied position requires a hands-on approach, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to respond effectively to any situation.
Responsibilities
* Provide a friendly and professional welcome to guests during night-time check-ins and check-outs
* Carry out regular security and safety checks throughout the premises
* Manage and respond to any emergency situations in line with hotel procedures
* Perform general cleaning duties to maintain high standards of cleanliness in public areas
* Provide bar service to guests in accordance with licensing laws
* Complete reception duties, including taking bookings and handling enquiries
* Prepare for the following days operations as instructed by management
* This is a 30 hours per week role involving night shifts between 21:00 and 06:00

* If successful, there will likely be two further interview stages with the Hiring Manager/wider team, which may include a presentation or task to assess your skills in action.
Qualifications
* Previous experience in a similar role is desirable but not essential
* Strong communication and problem-solving skills
* Able to work independently and remain calm under pressure
* Trustworthy, professional, and well-presented
* Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and public holidays
* Basic IT skills for using hotel booking systems
