The opportunity to join the Real Estate team, who have successfully secured numerous new instructions from clients with increasingly complex legal requirements. The role would be to support the team in:
* Staying updated on the latest legal changes and practices.
* Making the most of current awareness updates.
* Building a well-organised collection of precedents, best practice guides, and resources.
* Offering regular training for lawyers on both general Real Estate law and specific areas of expertise.
* Writing articles and client bulletins to enhance the firm's reputation as a leading voice in Real Estate law.
Candidate:
* Experience as a Real Estate lawyer at a reputable City, national, or regional law firm.
* Significant expertise in Real Estate, with substantial experience in one or more key areas, including real estate development, investment and property management, finance, social housing, enfranchisement, and strategic land.
* Strong drafting and research abilities.
* Highly developed organisational and communication skills.
* Familiarity with various training methodologies and learning processes.
* Excellent interpersonal skills, capable of engaging effectively with individuals at all levels within the firm.
* Pragmatic, self-motivated, and a collaborative team player.
* Proficient in a range of IT skills, including the Microsoft Office suite, with a keen interest in adopting new technologies to improve client service delivery.
The position requires enhancing training programs for junior lawyers and organising regular team sessions on various topics, as well as supporting specialised training in specific areas of practice. Collaboration with fee earners is essential in developing client-facing tools, updates, and training programs to improve client service, along with assisting them in research and providing advice on technical legal issues and innovative solutions for transactions.
