Hire Driver/Fitter with Class 2 Licence at Sudbury Hirebase

As part of our expansion, we’re looking for a passionate and driven Hire Driver/Fitter to join the team at this cutting-edge Depot. At HIREBASE, we pride ourselves on offering an extensive range of top-quality plant and tool hire, designed to meet the needs of everyone—from skilled tradespeople to DIY enthusiasts and self-builders. With over 90 branches nationwide and ambitious growth plans, we’re eager to welcome self-motivated individuals ready to be part of our exciting journey!
Responsibilities of the Hire Driver/Fitter (Class 2) at Hirebase:
1. Carry out routine equipment and vehicle checks
2. Maintain and repair the hire fleet to company and legal standards
3. Keep hire fleet maintenance records up to date
4. Maintain a safe, clean, and tidy workshop environment
5. Manage the hire fleet within your branch
6. Safeguard against theft of company goods
7. Distribute hire equipment using company vehicles
8. Follow and uphold company transport policies
9. Serve customers efficiently, safely, and according to company policies
10. Complete stock takes as required
11. Perform other branch duties as assigned by management

Working hours: Monday – Friday, 7:30 am – 5:00 pm, with alternate Saturday mornings 8:00 am – 12:00 pm
