A well-led and supportive 11–18 secondary school in Ilkeston is seeking a History Teacher to join its Humanities department from January 2026. This role is particularly well suited to an Early Career Teacher looking for a confident and structured start to their teaching career. History is a popular subject within the school, with a clear and carefully sequenced curriculum designed to support both student progress and teacher development. The department has a strong record of mentoring ECTs and values reflective practice and collaboration.
