* Salary: £54,250 plus an extensive Package
* Working Hours: 12 Hour Day Shifts
Due to business expansion, our client requires an experienced site services and utilities maintenance engineer to join their Derbyshire site permanently as soon as possible. This company is well-placed to deliver its ambitious plans for sustainable growth.
Role Responsibilities – Site Services & Utilities Engineer - Day shifts
* To take responsibility for delivering a high-quality maintenance of site services and facilities
* Effective asset care of the site services, plant, and equipment
* Ensure legal & statutory compliance
* Supervise and coordinate contractors
* Achieve site and departmental key performance indicators (KPI’s)
* Responsible for boiler check compliance and maintenance, supporting the process manufacturing department
* Maintenance of the building fabric and everything contained within the perimeter, including plant rooms, compressors, switch gear and related
* Plan, coordinate, validate and verify tasks in support of the maintenance and repair of site services plant & equipment.
* Ensure all mandatory insurance inspections (LOLER, Boiler vessels, etc.) are delivered on time.
* Develop and deliver maintenance plans for a wide range of services and equipment, including but not restricted to;
* Water Treatment
* Effluent & Drainage
* Steam Plant
* Compressed Air
* Identify and implement best practices for the delivery of a cost-effective maintenance plan.s
* Lifting Equipment
* Fire Detection & Protection
* Maintain records of inspections and service to internal and external audit requirements.
* Building Fabric
* Bulk materials handling
* HVAC (heating, ventilation, air conditioning)
Requirements - Site Services & Utilities Engineer - Day Shifts
* Strong interpersonal and developed communication skills
* Decisive, pro-active, self-motivated and assertive
* Confident in communicating with both internal and external customers
* Recognised apprenticeship ideal
* Appropriate technical qualification (C&G minimum, BTEC ONC/TEC 3 or higher preferred)
* Ideally, mechanically biased
* Experience in maintenance on plant services, facilities and utilities
* Manufacturing Industry Experience preferred
* Mechanical / Electrical Biased
* NVQ Level 3 equivalent
* Understanding of relevant Health and Safety codes of practice and legislation.
* Utilities/Boiler/Refrigeration/Water systems/PSSR/LOLER
