Overview
Our client based in Bath is recruiting an experienced Interior Designer who can enthusiastically and passionately communicate commercial design concepts.
Responsibilities
* Design and create inspirational workplace environments tailored to specific people, brand, culture, purpose and environment.
* Demonstrate capability for content creation and sell the vision for a design pitch in front of multiple clients.
* Collaborate with the creative team on commercial design and build projects, from bespoke office fit‑outs to multi‑million pound building refurbishments.
Minimum Attributes and Skills
* Proven communication skills.
* Excellent presentation skills, both visual and spoken.
* Be informed of workplace best practices.
* Up to date knowledge of materials, fabrics, and brands.
* Design spatial awareness and ability to visualise the use of empty space.
* Ability to come up with creative solutions, problem solving and troubleshooting unexpected situations.
* Enthusiasm, passion and confidence.
* Relentlessly curious and a desire to learn.
Minimum Qualifications and Training
* Minimum of 3 years practical work experience within workplace or commercial office design.
* Degree in Interior Design, Interior Architecture or equivalent.
* Knowledge and experience using AutoCAD, Revit, Office 365, Procore, SketchUp, Enscape and Adobe suite.
