The Role
As a Womenswear Designer at SUMWON STUDIOS, you will play a key role in shaping trend-led womenswear collections across our brands. Working closely with Heads of Brand and the wider design team, you will support the development and execution of seasonal and reactive collections for a fast-paced e-commerce environment.
This role suits a highly creative, commercially minded designer with strong technical skills and a deep understanding of womenswear trends and customer behaviour.
Key Responsibilities
* Design and develop trend-driven womenswear collections across multiple product categories for our e-commerce platforms.
* Conduct seasonal and weekly trend research, identifying key womenswear silhouettes, colour palettes, prints and design details.
* Create CADs, technical sketches and comprehensive design packs for production.
* Collaborate closely with Buying, Merchandising and Production teams to ensure cohesive, on-time product drops.
* React quickly to emerging trends, social media moments and viral content, delivering fast design turnarounds.
* Analyse sales performance and customer feedback to inform future collections and optimise best-selling styles.
* Monitor competitor activity and global womenswear fashion trends to maintain a strong market position.
What you’ll bring
* Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design or a related discipline.
* 3–5+ years’ experience designing womenswear within a fast-fashion or e-commerce environment.
* Strong understanding of womenswear garment construction, fabrics and trims.
* Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Illustrator and Photoshop.
* Excellent eye for trend forecasting, styling and contemporary fashion culture.
* Proven ability to manage multiple design projects in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
* Highly organised, detail-oriented and a confident communicator.
* A strong passion for fast fashion, social media trends and customer-led design.
