Main duties of the job
We have an exciting opportunity to join our talented catering team in the role of Bank Senior Catering Assistant. We are seeking a talented, compassionate individual to join our kitchen team.
You will be preparing and serving patient suppers, supporting our Chef's in the preparation of patient breakfasts,lunches, staff meals.You will also be setting up the kitchen in readiness for the next morning and catering for small events.

Job responsibilities
This position would suit someone who is seeking a flexible working arrangement who has availability across a variety of days and times.
Previous experience in a kitchen environment is desirable however full training will be available for the successful candidate.
Person Specification
Experience
* Good organisational skills
* Previous experience of working within a catering environment
* Knowledge & experience of working to H&SAW, COSHH standards
* Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels
* Good motivational skills with the ability to engage and empathise with others
* High degree of commitment and integrity
* Ability to work to deadlines and under pressure
* Ability to work independently with minimum supervision and as part of a team
* Good presentation and high standard of work
* Ability to operate in a multi-disciplinary environment
* Attention to detail and a strong motivation to maintain high standards.
* Basic PC Skills
* Previous experience of working with volunteers

Qualifications
* Educated to GCSE level or equivalent, good basic English & Maths
* Food Hygiene & Allergens Level 2 qualification or equivalent
* Further catering qualifications, NVQs or equivalent
