Duties
* Assisting clients with daily activities such as personal hygiene, dressing, and mobility
* Supporting individuals with their care plans to ensure personalised and effective care
* Providing companionship and emotional support to clients
* Helping with medication reminders and basic health monitoring as required
* Assisting with meal preparation and feeding if necessary
* Maintaining accurate records of care provided using IT systems
* Driving clients to appointments or social activities when needed (driving skills preferred)
* Ensuring a safe and clean environment for all clients in accordance with health and safety regulations
Experience
* Previous experience working within a care home or providing home care is advantageous but not essential; full training will be provided
* Good understanding of care plans and the ability to follow them accurately
* Basic IT skills for record keeping and communication purposes
* Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal
* Ability to demonstrate empathy, patience, and strong interpersonal skills
* Driving licence is desirable for roles involving client transportation, but not mandatory
