Specialist Occupational Therapist - Vocational Rehabilitation
Position offered on a 12‑month secondment basis, part‑time (15 hours per week) with Gloucestershire Health and Care NHS Foundation Trust.

Role responsibilities
* Deliver evidence‑based vocational rehabilitation to adults of working age within the Berkeley Vale Primary Care Network.
* Provide occupational therapy assessments and develop specialist vocational rehabilitation intervention plans, including reasonable adjustments to enable return to, and sustainable employment.
* Work as a key member of the specialist multidisciplinary service based in multiple GP surgeries.
* Research, develop and share current best practice to optimise vocational rehabilitation opportunities and improve participation in occupation.
Qualifications
* Degree or Diploma in Occupational Therapy.
* Post‑graduate level knowledge and experience in occupational therapy, supplemented by specialist courses and equivalent diplomas.
Knowledge and experience
* Broad clinical experience with people with complex or multiple long‑term health conditions.
* Experience in settings such as physical health, rehabilitation, vocational services, post‑COVID services, community, and mental health.
* Experience working in community, work settings, and home environments.
Legal and disclosure requirements
This post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1975 (Exceptions Order); a Disclosure and Barring Service check will be required.
Salary: £39,959 to £48,117 per year, pro‑rate for the part‑time role.
