The Company Seymour John are supporting a well-established business in the Stourbridge area, who are looking to strengthen their finance team, with the appointment of an Accounts Assistant. The Opportunity Duties will include: * Processing supplier invoices for payment using Sage 50 * Reconciling supplier accounts and maintaining accurate records * Communicating with suppliers to obtain VAT invoices and account statements * Supporting weekly supplier payment runs and identifying priority payment * Managing sales ledger duties including raising sales invoices, credit control, reconciling customer accounts * Updating and maintaining supplier data within the company cashflow system * Collaborating with the sales team to review and confirm Purchase Orders in Sage * Ensuring all relevant Purchase Orders are accurately reflected in the cashflow * Coordinating and processing urgent ad hoc bank payments as required Personal Profile We’re looking to hire an Accounts Assistant who is dynamic, hard-working and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
