Qualified Social Worker – Children, Family and Education Team
Location: Merseyside
Pay Rate: £36 per hour
Part-Time: 27 hours per week
Are you an experienced and passionate Social Worker ready to make a lasting impact on the lives of children and families? Were looking for a dedicated professional to join a dynamic Children, Family and Education Team in Merseyside. This is a meaningful role working with children and families to provide early help, targeted support and effective intervention where it’s needed most.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage a varied caseload supporting children and families across a range of needs
* Conduct strengths-based assessments and deliver person-centred care plans
* Work collaboratively with families, schools, and other professionals to achieve positive outcomes
* Support children to thrive in safe, nurturing environments
* Champion the voices of children and families in all decision-making
* Provide guidance and mentorship to less experienced staff or students
What We’re Looking For:
* Qualified Social Worker registered with Social Work England
* 4+ years’ post-qualified experience, ideally in children and families settings
* In-depth understanding of safeguarding and relevant legislation
* Creative, flexible and solution-focused mindset
* Strong communication and relationship-building skills
* A commitment to achieving the best outcomes for children and their families
