Digital Marketing Manager
At Twycross Zoo we're more than a family day out; we are a leading conservation charity working to protect endangered species and inspire people to care for the natural world. Every visit helps us fund vital work in the UK and across the globe.
This is a pivotal moment for us. With our brand transformation underway, the Global Conservation Centre opening in late 2026, and landmark projects such as Lanterns of the Wild and The Gruffalo Discovery Land already drawing huge audiences, we are investing in the future. To achieve our ambitions, we need to transform how we connect digitally with over 700,000 annual visitors, thousands of members, and millions of potential guests.
The Role
Reporting to the Marketing Director, you will lead the digital marketing strategy and play a central role in shaping the guest journey online, from first click to post-visit loyalty. You'll combine commercial focus with creativity to deliver growth in ticket sales, engagement, and repeat visits, ensuring our digital platforms reflect our mission as a modern conservation charity.
Your responsibilities will include:
* Leading the digital marketing plan to grow audiences, revenue, and brand engagement.
* Managing and optimising key platforms: website, app and CRM, ensuring they deliver seamless customer experiences.
* Owning the digital ticketing guest journey, working with our ticketing partner and internal stakeholders to ensure frictionless purchasing, while driving basket value, upsells and commercial add-ons.
* Developing paid digital campaigns (Google, paid social, affiliates) that drive measurable ROI.
* Driving personalisation, segmentation, and automation across CRM to deepen engagement with members and ticket holders.
* Using data and analytics to monitor performance, identify opportunities, and make evidence-based recommendations.
* Working with agencies and partners to deliver innovative campaigns, always with a sharp focus on value and effectiveness.
* Supporting the wider marketing and commercial teams to maximise conversion, upsell, and retention across all visitor touchpoints.
About You
We're looking for someone who is both strategic and hands-on. You'll be comfortable taking ownership of digital platforms, confident in managing campaigns end-to-end, and passionate about delivering results.
You'll bring:
* Experience managing B2C digital marketing campaigns across paid, owned and earned channels.
* Strong knowledge of website management, CRM platforms and digital analytics.
* A track record of delivering measurable revenue growth through digital activity.
* Experience managing agencies and budgets effectively.
* Excellent copywriting and communication skills, with strong attention to detail.
* A genuine interest in wildlife, education, or visitor attractions.
Experience within the attractions, tourism, leisure, or travel industries would be an advantage, but it's not essential.
What We Offer
* Competitive salary (dependent on experience).
* Permanent contract, 37.5 hours per week.
* 33 days annual leave (inclusive of bank holidays).
* Individual private healthcare & life assurance (post-probation).
* Free entry to Twycross Zoo, plus guest ticket allowance.
* Discounts on food, drink, and retail on site.
More importantly, you'll be joining at a defining time in our history, with the chance to shape how we inspire hundreds of thousands of people each year to protect wildlife.
