This is an exciting opportunity to take on a strategic leadership role across the South West region, driving transformation and embedding inclusive practice. You’ll work at the heart of a collaborative network, influencing policy and practice at scale and making a real difference to families and communities. Professional development opportunities and leadership training to support your career progression. Join us to Lead strategic planning, delivery, and evaluation of the Regional SEND Programme. Coordinate multi-agency initiatives and managing associated budgets. Build strong partnerships with local authorities, health, education providers, and parent/carer forums. Provide expert advice on change management and transformation to senior leaders. Representing the South West in national networks and working groups. We’re looking for an experienced leader with: Advanced theoretical knowledge in SEND (Masters level or equivalent). Proven track record in improving services for children and young people with SEND. Strong understanding of the Children and Families Act 2014 and SEND Code of Practice. Experience in multi-agency working and systems leadership. Excellent communication and influencing skills, with the ability to manage complex projects and budgets. A commitment to inclusive practice and co-production with families and young people.
