The Priory Conquest Lodge are looking to recruit a Support Worker to join their team. This is a full time position working 42hrs p/week.
Responsibilities
* Supporting with personal care tasks, such as washing, dressing, eating and personal care
* Performing light housekeeping tasks, such as dusting, vacuuming, and changing bed clothes
* Assisting with safe lifting, transferring, repositioning and movement of individuals
* Assistance and support to attend medical appointments
* Observe, monitor, and record physical and emotional well-being, and quickly report any changes to senior staff
* Supporting the development of important family connections and liaising with specialists, including Speech & Language Therapists and Learning Disability teams
* Encouraging participation in social and recreational activities that promote involvement and personal growth
* Assist qualified staff with the assessment and implementation of individual patient care plans; undertake routine tasks and activities to facilitate wellbeing, dignity and treatment of residents
* Provide day to day support to residents while encouraging and promoting independent living
* Help people reach their potential through practical and emotional support

* A healthcare qualification is desirable, but not essential
* Right to work in the UK
