The main element of the role is ensuring the delivery of infection prevention hygiene standards and maintaining a clean clinical environment for patients and visitors. The candidate will be responsible for co-ordinating and delivering catering, organising minor maintenance, managing stores, and other tasks as determined by the Unit Sister to meet individual patient needs. The successful candidate will ensure the ward is welcoming for patients, visitors, and staff. They will work closely with contractors and support services, monitor quality standards, and address deficiencies in liaison with the ward manager.
The position requires maintaining high standards. The successful candidate must be willing to learn new skills and undertake further training. Experience with Oracle and stores is desirable, but full training will be provided.
