Holidays Cottage Cleaner - Wadebridge Summary We're looking for a cleaner to prepare our stunning holiday cottages in North Cornwall. Due to the remote location of some our places, please consider how you might travel to work before you apply. Free parking is available at all our cottages. Salary: 12.75 per hour Contract: Permanent Hours/ working pattern: Part-time, 6 hours per week. Changeover days can fall Monday to Saturday, so flexibility is essential due to popular short breaks and late bookings. Rotas are issued in advance, and we try to accommodate other commitments wherever possible Interview: 15th May 2026 Start Date: 1st June 2026 Internally within the National Trust, you will be known as a 'Holidays Operation Assistant'. For this role, you’ll need to complete our online assessment instead of using a C.V. or online application form. In this position, you will be the holiday cottage cleaner for one of our Cottages, situated in Port Gaverne, PL29 3SQ a peaceful hamlet of a little cluster of traditional fisherman’s cottages and fish cellars. What you'll be doing On changeover days, you’ll make sure that everything’s pristine and ready for the next guests. This will include making sure the cottage is thoroughly cleaned, well-presented, warm, safe and welcoming. We’d also like you to keep an eye out for anything that’s not as it should be and report any repairs or odd jobs that need doing. If you need to, you’ll also replace any broken items from our stores. You may be working alone in one of our smaller cottages or as part of a team in one of our larger cottages.
