We are seeking a passionate and skilled Pizza Chef to join our team. As a Chef, you will play a crucial role in supervising kitchen operations, ensuring food safety standards are met, and leading a team of cooks to create exceptional dining experiences for our guests.
Responsibilities
- Oversee all aspects of food preparation and cooking to ensure quality and consistency.
- Supervise and manage kitchen staff, providing guidance and support to enhance their culinary skills.
- Develop and implement menus that reflect seasonal ingredients and customer preferences.
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain a clean, organised kitchen environment.
- Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure smooth service and guest satisfaction.
- Monitor inventory levels, placing orders as necessary to maintain stock of ingredients.
- Assist in training new kitchen staff on proper cooking techniques and safety procedures.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Pizza Chef or in a similar culinary role within the hospitality industry.
- Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in the kitchen.
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively.
- Proficient in various cooking techniques and cuisines, with a passion for culinary arts.
- Exceptional organisational skills with attention to detail in food presentation.
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards.
- A relevant culinary qualification is preferred but not essential.
