ABOUT THE SCHOOL
Prospero Teaching is looking for a CACHE Level 3 Teaching Assistant in Newham
The school is a popular four-form entry mainstream Primary School with a supportive senior leadership team. The school is going from strength to strength and providing training to all staff.
Depending on performance the school would look at either extending the contract or offering a permanent position.
CONTRACT/POSITION DETAILS
1. Location – Newham
2. Position – HLTA / Level 3 Teaching Assistant
3. Type of work – supporting teachers by leading lessons, managing classroom behaviour, assessing student progress, and providing targeted interventions
4. Contract or position start date – ASAP
5. Duration / Likely Duration – until end of the academic year July 2025
6. Contract or position end date (if applicable) – July 2025
7. Contract type (temp/perm/temp to perm) – Temporary
8. Full time/part time – Full time
9. Minimum rate of pay – Minimum rate £100 per day
10. Hours – 8:15 am – 3:30 pm : Mon – Fri (term time only)
EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS
11. CACHE Level 3
12. Minimum 1 year Key Stage 2 experience in the UK
13. Up to date Safeguarding training issued in the last year
TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:
14. Hold Right to Work in the UK
15. Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
16. Provide two professional child related references that cover at least the last two years
