About the Role:
My client are seeking an experienced and motivated Building Services Manager to join our growing team, based in St Albans and responsible for overseeing multiple projects across the southern region of the UK.
You will play a key role in the successful delivery of mechanical and electrical services across a diverse range of construction projects, ensuring quality, compliance, and performance at every stage.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead and manage the M&E design and installation process from pre-construction through to project completion.
* Liaise with design consultants, subcontractors, and project teams to ensure services are delivered on time and within budget.
* Coordinate building services with structural and architectural elements.
* Attend site meetings and ensure full compliance with health and safety regulations.
* Manage subcontractor performance and provide technical support where required.
* Review and approve technical submittals and ensure installations meet project specifications.
* Identify and manage risks associated with building services works.
About You:
* Proven experience in a similar Building Services Manager role within the construction industry.
* Strong technical knowledge of mechanical and electrical building services.
* Ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders effectively.
* Excellent communication and coordination skills.
* Familiar with relevant regulations, standards, and best practices.
* Willingness to travel across the southern UK as part of the role.
* Relevant qualifications in building services engineering or related discipline (HNC, HND, or Degree preferred).
