Lead Support Worker role at Home Group in Exeter, Devon. You will support customers with complex needs related to street homelessness, helping them develop skills for independent living in the community. You’ll make a big difference each day as you help our customers achieve their hopes and aspirations.

* Location: Exeter, Devon
* Contract: 1 x Permanent and 1 x 12 months fixed term, full-time (37.5 hours per week)
* Rota: 4-week rolling pattern, including evenings and weekends
* Pay: £13.21 per hour (£25,838 per annum)
* Right to work: We can only consider candidates with an existing right to work in the UK
Responsibilities
* Creating support plans with customers and coordinating a small team of Support Workers.
* Assisting customers with daily activities such as meal preparation, shopping, budgeting, maintaining tenancy, and transitioning to independent accommodation.
* Conducting risk assessments, support planning, goal setting, and regular reviews.
* Collaborating with colleagues and spending time with customers to support them without rushing.

* Passion for supporting customers to live their best lives, with attention to detail and collaborative working.
* Experience in creating person-centred support plans and guiding colleagues to follow them.
* Experience in coordinating and assessing customer referrals.
* Ability to work independently, stay calm under pressure, and maintain a resilient approach.
* Flexible and caring nature, adaptable to sudden changes, and effective teamwork skills.
* Strong communication skills to articulate complex problems and see them through to resolution.
