Morson Edge are recruiting for Aircraft Fitters to join Morson Praxis, supporting a major Aerospace programme in the Filton area.
Pay: £27.50 per hour
Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday (possible overtime at standard rate)
Contract: 12-month initial
Start Date: ASAP
Location: Filton, Bristol
The Role
As an Aircraft Fitter, you will carry out assembly, installation and modification work on aircraft structures and systems, ensuring all tasks are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards. You'll work as part of a skilled team supporting key production and maintenance activities across a major Aerospace environment.
Key Responsibilities
Perform structural and mechanical fitting tasks on aircraft components and assemblies
Complete drilling, riveting, bolting, sealing and allied operations following approved procedures
Work accurately to engineering drawings, build instructions and technical documentation
Maintain compliance with safety, quality, and build standards at all times
Support continuous improvement and workplace organisation initiatives
Complete all associated documentation in line with company processes
Experience & Qualifications
Time-served apprenticeship in Aircraft Fitting, Aerospace Engineering or equivalent
Previous Aerospace production or maintenance experience preferred
