Field Service Engineer – BD
We are looking for a Field Service Engineer to join our Advanced Patient Monitoring (APM) Technical Services team. In this role you will ensure the reliable operation of our advanced hemodynamic monitoring systems by performing preventive maintenance, installations, and technical support activities across the UK, Benelux, and Nordic regions.
Location: London area, 50% overseas travel with frequent overnight stays.
Main Responsibilities
* Perform preventive maintenance, installations, and system upgrades for patient monitoring equipment.
* Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues efficiently to ensure minimal downtime.
* Provide on-site support and guidance to clinical and technical staff in hospitals.
* Document all interventions accurately in line with quality and regulatory standards.
* Collaborate with the wider technical team to share insights and enhance service delivery.
* Ensure compliance with safety and operational protocols during all service activities.
* Maintain up-to-date knowledge of APM technology and service procedures.
About You
* Degree in Electronic, Biomedical Engineering or a related field.
* Previous experience in medical device or technical maintenance roles is an advantage but not a requirement.
* Fluent in English; any other European language is beneficial.
* Strong problem‑solving skills, with a proactive and independent working style.
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a focus on customer satisfaction.
* Willingness to travel frequently across Europe.
Target salary range £30,000 to £35,000 plus benefits and company car. Salary range £26,800.00 – £45,600.00 GBP Annual.
Primary Work Location: GBR Winnersh – Eskdale Road. Additional Locations: GBR Crawley.
