You will be responsible for Conduct in-depth research into emerging cyber security threats, vulnerabilities, and attack techniques Design and develop novel security solutions, tools, and prototypes Perform vulnerability analysis, reverse engineering, and security assessments across a range of platforms Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to transition research into real-world capabilities Contribute to technical reports, whitepapers, and customer deliverables Stay ahead of the latest developments in cyber security, sharing insights with the wider team Required Skills Essential: Strong background in cyber security, computer science, or a related discipline Experience with one or more of the following: Reverse engineering Exploit development Malware analysis Secure software development Proficiency in programming (e.g., C/C++, Python, or similar) Understanding of operating systems, networks, and system architecture Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Desirable: Experience with embedded systems, mobile platforms, or cloud security Knowledge of cryptography or secure communications Familiarity with vulnerability research tools and frameworks Previous experience in a research or innovation environment Where you’ll work… ROMSEY – Located within beautiful Hampshire countryside, close to the picturesque New Forest District and not far from a superb stretch of the south coast.
